Jewish Social Justice Roundtable – Network Assembly 2023

Workshop description: How do we make space to be not only in solidarity with our movements for justice and liberation, but also in solidarity with ourselves? What shape does self-love take on for each of us, while we continue to work in coalition with each other? Spoken word poet Caroline Rothstein will perform a unique and interactive set list of original poetry weaving together themes around wellness, rejuvenation, and self-care. The performance will be followed by a facilitated group discussion and a writing workshop – no previous writing experience necessary! – as together we consider what it feels like to be in solidarity with ourselves as we individually and collectively forge on paths towards justice, liberation, and systemic change.
