Workshop

With a decade of workshop facilitating, coaching, directing, and teaching experience in both performance and writing, Caroline has a theater performance background unique to the spoken word poetry community. Using her writing, acting, and performance expertise, she offers both performance and writing workshops to students of all ages and backgrounds. Her goal is to help students and participants find their inherent and natural ability to freely express themselves through language and presentation. With a graduate degree from the world renowned Columbia J-School, her is an expert writing workshop facilitator and poetry editor.

Caroline is available for specialized writing and/or performance workshops at colleges, universities, schools, community centers, religious institutions and organizations, private events, and more. She is able to cater themes, topics, and workshop structures to an organization's specific needs and desires.

Caroline has facilitated writing and performance workshops at dozens of middle schools, high schools, colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, community centers, and religious spaces throughout the United States including: Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Wesleyan University, Emory University, SUNY Binghamton, UC Santa Cruz, the New York Lab School for Collaborative Studies, Grand Street High School, Convent of Sacred Heart, Congregation Beth Elohim, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Young Chicago Authors, Sand Creek Middle School, the Apache Cafe, the Center for Wellness for Urban Women, Inc., and more.
